How much does it cost?
There are no upfront costs to use our service. All you need is your own internet domain name. You don't have to install any software, maintain your own database, or even maintain a server. All you need to do is set your store up and then promote it to bring customers in.
Rather than charging a fee for our service, we set it up so we only make money if you make money. We count the times people add products to their CafePress cart.
- If the counter is at 1, 2 or 3, we display product details pages using your affiliate ID.
- If the counter is at 4, we display product details pages using our affiliate ID.
- When someone adds a product to the CafePress cart, we advance the counter.
- When the counter reaches 5, we start back over at 1.
This means that we will get a comission for 1 out of every 4 products sold for providing the servers, database, programming, etc. while you get paid for the rest.
Integrated right into your store is the custom product designer from MyCustomProduct.com. You will receive full affiliate credit for all products purchased that are created iwth it. i.e. We don't take a 4thclick on those products.
Getting Started
To build your own store, you only need the following
- Optional - A CafePress shop. This can be either a premium or a basic shop.
If you don't already have a CafePress shop, click here and then click on the Open A Shop button.
If you would like to design some of your own products to sell in your store or want your the look of your cart to match your store, we recommend opening a premium shop.
- A Commission Junction affiliate ID that is enrolled in the CafePress affilaite program. This is free.
- A domain name for your store, which you can register at www.GoDaddy.com

You can register your domain with any service you want as long as the allow you to point your domain to our server (not a redirect), we recommend godaddy.com because their prices are low, includes a free email account, and they make it easy for you to point your domain to our server.
- Optional - A place to store your own graphics if you want to customize the look of your store beyond our 3 built in looks.
